Foodprep service, NUTRIGEM reduces the amount of food “thrown” from the

NUTRIGEM is based on the Maritime Labor Convention (MLC 2006) as well as
international maritime organizations (ILO, ISWAN) related to the [erspective ofcrew health and wellbeing. The health services offered by NUTRIGEM aim tooptimize the wellbeing and protect the health of seafarers by faithfully followinginternational standards.
NUTRIGEM is in collaboration with general practitioners and is able to provide
the MedatSea service. This is a 24/7/365 support service on the vessel. Each
steamer is marked on board with a number that the crew can call when a medical
issue arises. However, the service is for routine medical issues and not

conditions such as hypertension, diabetes as well as anything related to care and
prevention.
